Coláiste Naomh Cormac

Kilcormac Vocational School now Coláiste Naomh Cormac has provided a quality education for the local catchment area and the wider community since 1971. On the completion of the extension in 2004 it was decided by parents/guardians, students and staff to change the name of the school to Coláiste Naomh Cormac.

We as a school, together with the parents/guardians and the community, strive to nurture the moral, spirtitual, intellectual, social, and physical development of all our students.

In Coláiste Naomh Cormac, our students enjoy excellent facilities. Our modern, spacious school building was opened in 1990, extended in 2004 and is always maintained to a very high standard.

We have a state of the art specialist rooms for Music, Science, Information Technology, Home Economics, Engineering, Construction Studies and Career Guidance.

A Technology Computer Room specifically for Computer Aided Graphics to assist students with Project work for the examinations is a recent addition.

Most classrooms are now equipped with computers and Data Projectors for teaching purposes.

There are ample grounds surrounding the school where students socialise, play hurling, camogie and basketball and participate in events organised with the assistance of Offaly Sports partnership.
